US Covid Deaths 800,000 (Dec. 15, 2021)

As of December 15, 2021, the United States–the self-proclaimed gold standard for “democratic governance” that also claims to have the best health care system in the world–has hit a scandalous and shameful milestone: more than 800,000 officially reported Covid-19 deaths. And counting.

The United States with only 4% of the world’s population has suffered 15% of its Covid-19 deaths. It is leading the world in this pandemic’s death toll.

On the same date, China has suffered approximately 5,200 Covid-19 deaths. An incredible achievement for the history books.

With 1.4 billion people, roughly 20% of the world’s population, China is over 4 times the US population. Yet it has suffered less than 5,200 deaths.

While the US accounts for a disproportionate 15% of the global Covid-19 deaths, China accounts for a tiny 0.1% of the global Covid deaths.

So more than 800,000 Americans dead of Covid-19 is not only tragic, it’s outrageous and damnable. And as China has shown, almost all preventable!
