What is The Death Society? What are its defining characteristics? And do you live in such a society?
First and foremost, in a Death Society, most deaths are unnecessary or premature.
Since our maximum human lifespan is around 120 years, anyone who dies before a hundred and twenty years old dies prematurely.
It’s a scandal that the average lifespan in the U.S. is only 77.9.
This is not surprising since the U.S. refuses to provide universal health care to its population.
A violation of the U.N. charter on Human Rights, and of the EU Charter. (Yes EU countries all have universal health care. It’s a basic human right.)
This mediocre American life expectancy ranks a dismal 34th in the world.
It is lower than Cuba! (Because the Cuba’s Communist government was able from the Revolution’s beginning to give Cubans universal health care and one of the best health care systems in the Third World. Despite the U.S. propaganda claiming Cuba was and is such a “poor” and “backward” country.
Yes, Hisotry will absolve Fidel Castro and his Revolution.
The U.S. Life Expectancy is shameful and pathetic. And it is intentional Systemic Homicide.
The American life expectancy lags behind most of Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, and of course Japan.
In fact, in this most important measurement of a society’s well-being, the great United States of America is four years behind Japan, the world’s life-expectancy leader.
And it’s not a political issue at all. Not an issue on the radar of any presidential campaign or debate.
For the gold standard of Robber-Baron Capitalism and the self-proclaimed richest country in the world (not anymore), with the most advanced science, medicine, and technology at its command, the United States’ average lifespan and healthspan should be higher, much higher.
History will condemn the U.S.capitalist Death Society so much more than other Death Societies. Why? Because it had so much more than others during most of the 20th century, and it knowingly, intentionally, and maliciously did so much less. Resulting in the premature and needless deaths of millions of its residents and citizens.
So the number one defining characteristic of The Death Society is: its life expectancy falls far short — one third short — of the maximum human lifespan of 120, and the society things that is fine, “natural,” “an act of God” and perfectly acceptable.
